Business ethics – Code of conduct

As part of our company value “Responsible”, we emphasize high business ethics. This also concerns our partners and third-party intermediaries. Our basic requirements concern compliance with:

• International conventions and working environment legislation in production countries 
• Environmental and Climate Protection 
• Protection of Natural Resources  
• Anti-Corruption and Bribery

Certifications and memberships

ISO certified

Protex Balti AS is certified in accordance to ISO 14001:2015 – Environmental Management Systems, which is the international standard that outlines recognized methods for systematic environmental management. We focus on improving our environmental performance through more efficient use of resources and reduction of waste, gaining a competitive advantage and the trust of our stakeholders.  

Eco-Lighthouse certified

Protex AS (Norway) has been Eco-Lighthouse certified since 2008, which confirms our commitment to environmentally friendly practices and safer work environments.

Grønt Punkt Norge

We are also a member of the Norwegian organization “Grønt Punkt Norge”, which means that our business is committed to take our share of environmental responsibility.

E-commerce

In our online store, we focus on operating as sustainably as possible. We use recycled plastic bags or used cardboard boxes to ship orders. We encourage our customers to reuse these for any returns.
We do not offer free shipping and returns, which encourages customers to order only what they need and avoid unnecessary returns.
